Binghamton NY - Saint Patrick's Day parade & Grand Emerald Ball. The parade line-up is at 12:30pm with the parade itself starting at 1pm. The Grand Emerald Ball starts at 7:30pm. Please contact Barb if you are interested in participating in the parade or attending the Ball.

Blue and Gray Debutante Ball. Saturday March 29th, 4:30pm - 11:30pm at Marion Memorial American Legion Post 1430. For additional information and Ball invitation, please save a copy of the registration document to your local computer by right-clicking Here and select "Save target as".

Allegany State Park: Civil War Seminar with the 5th VA and the 136th NY.

Spring Drill at Fort Ontario, Oswego, NY: Unit meeting and spring drill. All members are urged to attend, especially new and inexperienced members. There will be a unit meeting and drill. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights. Other units welcome with prior notification.

Memorial Day Parade, Newark, NY; Forming up at the junction of N Main Street (R88) and West Shore Blvd at 1pm for a 1:30pm step off. Contact any unit officer for directions.

Memorial Day. Activities carried out in conjunction with SUVCW, Abraham Lincoln Camp #6 and DUVCW Tent #56. Ceremonies as follows:

9:30am Holy Sepulchre 10:45am Rapids Cemetery 11:30am Mount Hope GAR Plot

Following the Mount Hope ceremonies, a Victorian style picnic will be held at the GAR Plot.

Memorial Day Parade, Marion, NY; Parade starting at 11am from the firehouse on Main Street in Marion.

Memorial Day / Town Bicentenial, Nunda, NY; Memorial Service will be at 1pm (forming at noon) and a parade will take place for the towns bicentenary at 6pm. There are facilities to set up a small encampment between the memorial service and parade. The American Legion is across the road and the facilities are available for use. ***New Event***

Directions: Take 390 South to Mount Morris exit. Turn left off the exit ramp and follow 408 into Mount Morris. At the intersection, take a left onto 36 then a right onto 408. Follow 408 for 10.5 miles to Nunda. Once in Nunda, turn right onto 4th Street and bear left onto West Street. Parking is on the left opposite the main cemetery entrance.

Newark, NY. Rose Parade starting at 1pm from Plaza on West Miller Street. We will have an encampment and recruitment center at the Wayne County Historical Society (Located at 120 High Street on the corner with Mason Street) from Friday through to Sunday. There is limited tent space so please advise Barb if you are planning to stay overnight. We will be forming for the parade at the Historical Society at 11am.

Peterboro, NY, Peterboro Civil War Weekend. Encampment, Period Entertainment and Performances, Civil War Era Music & Songs, Craft Demonstrations, Blue & Gray Ball Saturday evening, Skirmish Saturday and Sunday, Smithfield Fire Department Pancake Breakfast Sunday morning.

Middlesex Conservation Club - Living History encampment. Camping available on Saturday 21st and breakfest is provided on Sunday morning.

A Note Regarding 4th July Weekend: Including the national event, we have SIX events to man the first weekend in July. Any ability by any members to attend any events will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Avon, NY; Parade on Friday 4th July, Living History Encampment through to Saturday. More details as they are confirmed.

Batavia, NY; Centennial Park; Picnic in the Park - living history and Independence Day celebration.

Gettysburg, PA; 145th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Battles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Infantry tactical on Saturday Morning. Registration for this event is now closed with no walk-ons.

Palmyra, NY, Independance Day Parade and Picnic; Living History. Camping is available in the park from Friday, July 4th, to Saturday, July 5th. Recruitment Booth, Encampment and Drill in the village park and parade at 4pm (forming at 3pm on Mill Street). Activities in the Village Park throughout the afternoon and Fireworks display in the evening. Please bring a tent and try to be there throughout the afternoon to participate in drill.

York Field Day- begins at 7pm, York Central School grounds. Living History.

Overackers Schoolhouse, Middlesex, NY - Living History encampment from 8am. At the corner of Rte 364 and North Valley Road in Middlesex. Activities include a Steam Association fair, vendors and a band. Contact Bob Pugsley if you are available. ***New Event***
